Lyndon was found by two German tourists in the town of Arkoudi, 75 km far from Patras. Lyndon was lying in the bushes unable to stand up. The kind young man gave him water and began to write to several rescue groups in the area. But unfortunately, no group was able to help Lyndon. We are also flooded with dogs and puppies but we went the extra mile and took Lyndon in. He is now fostered in our Fosterland and we are preparing him to travel to his forever family in Germany.
He is tested negative for leishmaniosis and for the heartworm but positive for ehrlichiosis. Ehrlichiosis is a tick-borne disease and will be treated with the administration of antibiotics for 40 days. He will also have his back and legs examined for injuries as it seems that he is in pain.
