PFO was as established in 2007.
Achaic Society is a founding member of the PanHellenic Animal Welfare Federation (PFO) and has been a member of the Board. Via PFO promotes the voluntary work in the region of Achaia while it participates in collective activities regarding legislation improvement , elimination of animal abuse and neglect across the country and communication with the authorities in both Greece and abroad.
New England Helps Greek Strays, USA
NEHGS is a well respected animal rescue organization in Vermont, USA.
For years they fund, rescue and rehoming of abused and abandoned pets in Greece. NEHGS is helping ASCA's rescued animals by finding wonderful homes in the US.

Graeske Hunde, Denmark
Graeske Hunde is a well-known Danish animal rescue organization. ASCA works with Graeske Hunde for rescued animals in the Peloponnese. Graeske Hunde funds and rehomes the rescued animals in Denmark in wonderful families. They also organize annual reunions for the families and the rescuers.
Foster Homes for Stray Pets Right now!
F.O.ST.E.R. now! is a registered non-profit organisation focusing on raising awareness in Greece and worldwide regarding the plight of stray pets in Greece and encourage citizens to become more active fostering a stray.
ASCA and F.O.ST.E.R. now! are working closely on setting standards for animal welfare operations in Greece. They have developed a code of conduct and they also work on finding funds for training and education of animal rescuers.
Greek Animal Rescue
Greek Animal Rescue is a UK based registered charity which aims to help the abused, neglected, stray and injured animals of Greece.
GAR was founded in 1989 and works to alleviate the suffering of animals in Greece by supporting a number of animal shelters, sterilising as many dogs & cats as funds allow and finding homes for the lucky few in the UK and several other EU countries. GAR has been a supporter of ASCA for many years. ASCA's foster land was one of the places the late Vesna Jones used to visit. GAR has placed many of ASCA's rescued animals in UK and has funded numerous spay/neuter projects.
